What is laser therapy?

Laser therapy is an FDA –approved medical treatment that uses focused light to stimulate Photobiomodulation, or PBM.  During PBM, photons enter the tissue and interact with the cytochrome C complex within the mitochondria.  This interaction triggers a biological cascade of events that increases cellular metabolism, which can decrease pain and inflammation and accelerate the healing process. 

A Class IV therapeutic laser penetrates bones, muscle and tissue to support/enhance regeneration and healing at the cellular level. 

In a nutshell, this beam of natural radiant light accelerates and enhances the healing process by turning light energy into regenerative energy for DNA, similarly as photosynthesis turns light energy into chemical energy for plants.
